Service Description

AccessiShield provides automated web accessibility scanning and code-level remediation suggestions for Shopify and WordPress stores. Our service generates code patches intended to address common WCAG 2.1 AA violations.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to:

• attempting to disrupt or overload the platform
• accessing the service through unauthorized automated means
• using the service for unlawful or abusive purposes

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

No Legal Guarantee of Compliance

AccessiShield is a technical tool, not a legal service. While our scanning and remediation engine targets WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria, we do not guarantee full legal compliance with the ADA, EAA, or any other regulation. Accessibility requirements are complex and evolving. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified accessibility professional or attorney for legal compliance guidance.

No Legal Advice

AccessiShield provides technical tools intended to assist with website accessibility improvements. The service does not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your website complies with applicable accessibility laws and regulations.

Automated Remediation

Code patches generated by AccessiShield are automated suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any changes before applying them to your live store. AccessiShield is not liable for issues caused by applying automated patches without review.

Service Availability

AccessiShield provides the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for reliable operation, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free performance.

Billing & Cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccessiShield will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

AccessiShield's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AccessiShield and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• your use of the service
• your website or online store
• your violation of these Terms
• your violation of applicable laws or accessibility regulations

This obligation survives termination of your account.

Class Action Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute with AccessiShield will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, or representative action.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Disputes

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, United States.
